“Democracy Today” NGO continues to conduct awareness-raising trainings on the prevention of violence against women in communities across Armenia.
As part of the project “Addressing Violence Against Women in Post-Conflict Armenia,” another training session was held in the town of Martuni.
During the session, participants discussed media literacy, safe online behavior, identifying disinformation, and the importance of critical thinking in today’s information-rich environment. Special attention was given to how information manipulation and various forms of online violence can negatively affect women’s safety and psychological well-being.
The second part of the training focused on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), panic attacks, and addiction. Participants discussed appropriate responses to stressful situations, practical stress management techniques, and methods that can help maintain emotional balance and strengthen self-regulation.
The project is implemented with the support of CISU.
