“Democracy Today” NGO organized a seminar in the town of Martuni, Gegharkunik Province, dedicated to disinformation, fact-checking, and the challenges posed by the spread of fake news.
The seminar was conducted by Hasmik Hambardzumyan, Editor-in-Chief of the Fact Investigation Platform (FIP), who presented effective methods and tools for verifying information.
During the seminar, participants discussed the impact of disinformation on public opinion, ways to identify and protect themselves from fake news, as well as the importance of assessing the credibility of information sources.
The seminar provided participants with an opportunity to enhance their media literacy knowledge and strengthen their critical thinking skills.
